A growing finance firm in Malacca is seeking a Junior Finance Executive to join their team. In this role, you will ensure accurate entry of accounting data, support financial operations, and maintain comprehensive records. Ideal candidates should have at least an SPM Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, along with a basic understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel and attention to detail are essential. This position offers hands-on experience in financial data management.

Are you looking to begin your career in accounting? 📊 We’re looking for a Junior Finance Executive to join our growing team! This role offers hands‑on experience in accounting operations, financial data management and preparing reports, etc.

Job purpose:

To ensure accurate and timely entry of accounting data into the company’s financial systems in compliance with established accounting standards and internal controls.

To support the Finance team by maintaining complete and reliable financial records, assisting in reconciliations, and contributing to the smooth operation of daily accounting activities.

Job responsibilities:

Accurately enter financial transactions such as invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries into the accounting system.

Verify and cross‑check data for accuracy and completeness before entry.

Maintain organized records of all accounting documents (hard copy and electronic).

Assist in preparing and updating ledgers, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) records.

Support the month‑end and year‑end closing process by ensuring all data is updated.

Generate simple reports or summaries as requested by the Management Team.

Assist in maintaining proper filing and documentation for reporting senior to submit for audit and tax purposes.

Ensure all financial information is handled with confidentiality and integrity.

Job requirements:

Candidate should possess minimum SPM Certificate, Professional Certificate, Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software (added advantage).

Detail‑oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
