Job summary

A property development company in Penang is seeking a Finance Executive to manage full accounts responsibility, ensuring timely financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts and be responsible for timely month end closing, management reporting and other financial matters.
  • Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
  • Assist in preparation of financial forecast, annual budget and variance analysis.
  • Assist in preparation of yearly audited report and tax returns.
  • Maintain proper accounting policies and internal control procedures.
  • Timely update banking transactions and reconciliation.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and data integrity of all financial data.
  • liaise with auditors, tax consultants and other professionals or regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Involve in all company events, especially sale launching activities.
  • Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
Requirements
Qualification
  • Candidate with at least Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • Candidate with professional qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
  • Candidate with at least 2 years of hands‑on finance functions, preferably in property development, construction environment or with audit experiences.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in HDA accounting procedures.
  • Accounting software knowledge, preferably IFCA developer software.
  • Well‑versed in Malaysia accounting standards, income tax and SST.
  • Ability to liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact professionally with all levels of management and staff.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
Others
  • Sound understanding of property sales administration and accounting procedures.
  • Highly collaborative to work as a team and self‑motivated to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to perform in a high‑paced and dynamic environment to meet the deadline of month end closing.
