Junior Engineer/ Site Engineer - Data Centre (Open to Fresh Graduates)

Assist in monitoring PLC-based systems that support data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, fire suppression, and other facility equipment.

Support the implementation and configuration of PLC logic and control systems for new and existing equipment under guidance from senior engineers.

Perform routine inspections, basic diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on PLC panels and control systems.

Work together with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to help integrate PLC systems with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.

Assist in troubleshooting system issues using HMI/SCADA interfaces and help escalate issues when required.

Maintain proper documentation for system changes, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Support data collection and reporting related to alarms, system performance, and operational status.

Follow safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards when performing tasks.

Participate in new projects, system upgrades, and expansion activities to gain hands-on exposure.

Receive training and guidance from senior engineers to build technical knowledge and practical skills.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 0–1 year of experience in industrial automation, facilities engineering, manufacturing, or data center environments (internship, freelance or project experience is acceptable).
  • Basic exposure to PLC programming, ladder logic, or HMI/SCADA systems. Working experience with PLC systems will be a significant plus.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, or automation concepts is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn, basic analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Responsible attitude and awareness of safety practices in technical environments.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu is a must, while fluency in Chinese is a significant plus.
