What would you be doing:

• Create 1-2 short-form videos per day (3050 seconds) across TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, and YouTube Shorts.
• Deliver 3 GIFs per day, collaborating with a designer for static visuals and applying motion graphics to finalize them.
• Research and conceptualize creative, trend-relevant promotional content with strong awareness of the Malaysia English KOL landscape.
• Manage end-to-end video production: researching raw footage, scripting/rephrasing, editing, adding subtitles, and ensuring final quality before delivery. (Training will be provided)
• Research content ideas and create video concept/scripts based on findings
• Ensure content is visually engaging, aligned with brand messaging, and optimized for social performance.
• Stay updated on platform trends and promotional formats to ideate scroll-stopping content.
• Apply strong attention to detail, especially in visual accuracy, subtitling, and promo copy.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 13 years of experience in video editing or social media content creation, OR a strong short-form video portfolio (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, paid ads).
• Strong understanding of social trends and ability to produce engaging, localized content.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential to be able to draft scripts, captions, and messaging for targeted audiences.
• Proficiency in CapCut; familiarity with Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus.
• Experience or interest in motion graphics, particularly for GIF creation.
• Able to develop simple storyboards, rephrase scripts, and produce content end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Highly detail-oriented especially when handling promo content, subtitles, and brand voice.
• Comfortable managing high daily output and responding positively to feedback.
• Prior exposure to e-commerce, product-focused content, or digital marketing is a plus.
