Junior Business Development Executive (Trade & Marketing)

Assist in executing business development plans and campaigns.

Support BD team in managing customer and partner requests.

Help prepare and track sales materials (e.g., proposals, quotations, presentations).

Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports.

Gather data on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of business initiatives.

Assist in developing and distributing business-related materials (e.g. brochures, emailers, sales kits).

Support in organizing events, client meetings, and B2B2C activities.

Process invoices, track expenses, and reconcile budgets for business development activities.

Liaise with vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure deliverables are on time.

Maintain databases for clients, prospects, and partnership opportunities.

Prepare reports and presentations for senior team members.

Work closely with supply chain and operations to ensure product/service availability for business activities.

Collect and analyze sales data and market feedback to support decision-making.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in marketing roles, with exposure to trade marketing (e.g., retailer activations, POS campaigns) and/or brand/digital marketing.

Prior experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industries is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.

Ability to work on multiple campaigns, deadlines, and operational tasks simultaneously.

Comfortable interpreting sales data, campaign metrics, and market trends to support decision making.

Keen eye for compliance, budget accuracy, and brand consistency in materials.

Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Team-oriented with the ability to liaise across departments.

Detail-oriented and proactive.
