Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Audit to assist in planning and performing audit assignments for a variety of clients. You will support the audit team with working papers and procedures in line with audit standards.

The role requires 0–3 years of experience, a Degree in Accounting, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, 0–3 years experience in auditing, good knowledge of accounting and audit procedures, strong analytical and communication skills, able to work independently and in a team, willing to travel to clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing audit assignments for various clients.
• Prepare audit working papers and perform audit procedures in accordance with audit standards.
• Assist in checking and verifying financial records, supporting documents and accounting entries.
• Perform audit testing on areas such as cash, receivables, payables, fixed assets, revenue and expenses.
• Identify and communicate audit findings and discrepancies to the senior/manager.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and related disclosures.
• Liaise with clients to obtain audit information and supporting documents.
• Ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Perform other audit-related duties as assigned by the Senior/Manager.
