Job summary

ZUS Coffee is seeking a Junior Art Director for the MYSG Studio to shape brand creative across Malaysia and Singapore. You will translate regional direction into locally resonant work, provide day-to-day art direction on design and production, and mentor junior designers within the MYSG team.

The role emphasizes visual storytelling, attention to detail, and cultural sensitivity in campaigns, store experiences, and digital executions, reporting to the Art Director, MYSG Studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts or equivalent.
• 4-6 years in art direction or brand design, with Malaysia/Singapore exposure and 1-2 years in supervision or mentorship.
• Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of local market consumer behavior and visual trends.
• Proactive, strong visual storytelling, detail-oriented, culturally nuanced, collaborative and mentorship-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute brand creative across Malaysia and Singapore touchpoints, from campaigns to store experiences to digital outputs.
• Translate regional brand direction into locally resonant creative output; provide day-to-day art direction on design and production.
• Mentor junior designers within the MYSG team.
• Drive visual and conceptual output for the Malaysia and Singapore markets, with big-picture thinking.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent
• Min. 4-6 years in art direction or brand design, ideally with exposure to the Malaysia and/or Singapore markets, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or mentorship capacity
• Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of local market consumer behavior and visual trends
• Behavioral Traits / Personalities: Proactive, Strong visual storytelling instinct, Detail-oriented, Sensitive to cultural nuances, Excellent cross-collaboration and mentorship skills
