Job summary

A leading property development company is seeking a Junior Accounts Executive in Klang City. This role involves handling accounts, preparing audits, and liaising with banks. Candidates should possess a minimum LCCI/Diploma in Accounting and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. A strong understanding of accounting software and excellent communication skills are necessary. This position requires self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure.

Reporting to the Group Chief Accountant, the Junior Accounts Executive/Accounts Executive’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

To handle posting and processing entries to ensure all business transaction are recorded properly.

Ensure month end close duties are prioritized and deadline are delivered on time.

To prepare the reconciliation for all balance sheet items and control accounts.

Prepare year-end audit and tax schedules as required.

Handling AR & AP area of works together with accounts assistant, and to support as at when required.

Liaise with banker for all the banking matters.

Liaise with auditors and tax agent for all the financial year audit and tax matters.

Liaise with company secretary for all statutory filing matters.

Handle ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Minimum LCCI/ Diploma in Accounting/ Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance from a recognized institution or equivalent.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and have working knowledge of computerized accounting system preferably Navision

Minimum 2-3 years or more experience in handling accounts receivable and payable.

Possess high integrity and good analytical skills

Strong communicator for both written and orally

Excellent planning skills & ability to prioritize and multi-task

Able to work independently and have strong sense of responsibility

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
