Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services APAC invites software professionals to join our team to develop RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, manage builds with Maven/Gradle, and deploy microservices on cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that support our digital innovation initiatives across the APAC region.

Qualifications

• Experience developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Experience with source code management systems like SVN or Git and build tools such as Ant, Maven or Gradle.
• Hands-on with Maven build scripts; Curie moving to GitHub (migration experience is a plus).
• Experience developing and deploying Microservices on cloud infrastructure is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate and JPA.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Manage source code with SVN or Git and build tools like Ant, Maven or Gradle.
• Maintain Maven scripts and assist in migrating Curie to GitHub.
• Develop and deploy Microservices on cloud infrastructure.
• Work with J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate and JPA.

Expectations from the Role

• Developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

• Experience using and developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON

• Experience in developing and deploying Microservices solutions on Cloud infrastructure will be good to have
• Having good knowledge with J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, SQL, Hibernate, JPA Framework

Good-to-Have

• Should have good knowledge on Oracle / Postgres
• Should have good knowledge of Jenkins Scripts, CICD Deployment
• Strong familiarity with web servers and load balancing technologies
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture
