Job summary

Luxoft in Malaysia seeks a Senior Java/Spring Boot Engineer to drive backend services for automotive software. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, while supporting Android integration when required.

You will work with cross-functional teams across Android, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure robust REST APIs, reliable cloud-ready deployments, and adherence to coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development using Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and backend service development.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices architectures.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot and will be willing to contribute to Android application development activities when required.

This role offers an opportunity to work on next-generation automotive solutions, including infotainment, connected vehicle services, cloud-driven applications, and mobile integrations for leading automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
