Ant Group Malaysia is launching a Fresh Graduate Recruitment program in Kuala Lumpur. As an Applied AI Engineer, you will own end-to-end product engineering in an AI-native environment, collaborating with AI agents throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will work on backend services, APIs, and software delivery while ensuring security, reliability, and quality. The role emphasizes learning, ownership, and effective communication within a fast-paced tech center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/SE or related field.
• Foundational programming proficiency in at least one general-purpose language.
• Understanding of APIs, databases, version control, and core software concepts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to clearly scoped product features and fixes from requirements to deployment.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs following engineering standards.
• Ensure code quality through validation, defect resolution, and production feedback.
• Collaborate with AI agents within AI-native engineering workflows across implementation and testing.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate delivery progress and risks.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.2. Foundational programming proficiency in at least one general-purpose language.3. Conceptual understanding of APIs, databases, version control, and core software development concepts.4. Proven ability to build and debug working software through coursework, internships, or projects, with strong learning, ownership, and communication skills.【Preferred Qualifications】1. Internship or project experience building a backend service or API connected to a database.2. Familiarity with automated testing and software quality practices.3. Experience using AI-native development workflows, including providing context to AI agents and reviewing the outputs.
