Job summary

Gateway Search Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support business applications ensuring stability and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities include end-to-end development, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement across the full software lifecycle, with emphasis on clean code, documentation, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of Java development experience with strong knowledge of Java programming and OOP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and MyBatis; solid understanding of framework architecture and principles.
• Proficient in Git for version control and source code management.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Redis and RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Familiarity with Linux and basic system administration; experience with Docker/Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Experience with Vue.js including Vue Router and Vuex is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with RuoYi open-source framework is a plus.
• Strong coding discipline, documentation skills, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and optimize business applications while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, clean, and maintainable code based on requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with analysts, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver software within timelines and quality standards.
• Analyze user feedback and system issues, perform troubleshooting, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide end-to-end technical support throughout the system lifecycle, including monitoring and performance tuning.
• Participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies.
• Comply with EHS policies and participate in relevant programs and training.
