We are a leading manufacturing company in Pasir Gudang, Johor, committed to excellence in production and operational efficiency. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Assistant Manager to lead our maintenance department and ensure smooth operations across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 15 staff, including facilities technicians, chargemen, and maintenance engineers.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all plant equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support production needs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Japanese-speaking stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
