Job summary

Intel is seeking a Data Science and Analytics Undergraduate Technical Intern to join the Global IT AI and Data team in Malaysia.

You will gain hands-on experience on real Finance data, analytics, reporting, and AI solutions within an Agile team, building data models, validating data, and developing enterprise-scale solutions in cloud analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• Undergrad pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, IT, CS or related fields.
• Able to undertake internship for at least 6 months.
• Interested to venture into cloud data analytics, enterprise reporting, data science and AI/ML Ops.

As a Data Science and Analytics Undergraduate Technical Intern, you will gain hands on experience working within an Agile team on real world Finance data, analytics, reporting, and AI solutions. You will learn data analysis and validation, data flow mapping, data model design, and the development and testing of enterprise scale solutions on modern cloud analytics platforms. Qualifications

The ideal candidate needs to be:

• Undergrad pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science or any related fields.
• Able to undergo internship for at least 6 months.
• Have strong career aspiration as a data profession, and interested to venture into cloud data analytics, enterprise reporting, data science and AI/ML Ops domains.
• Essential technical skills required mastery of SQL Programming, Advanced Excel, Data Manipulation and Analysis, Data Visualization, Microsoft Office tools proficiency, etc.
• Having fundamental understanding of Azure Data Fundamentals, Databricks, Snowflakes data warehouse is highly beneficial.
• Basic exposure to SAP HANA and ERP fundamentals (ECC, S/4), BW, SAC is a bonus.
• Fundamental understand of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and technical acumen of R or Python statistical programming language for predictive and prescriptive analytics is good to have.
• Knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain biz data acumen is an added advantage.
• You will need to have strong written and verbal skills providing the ability to communicate complex and ambiguous issues to various audiences.
• Applicants should be a self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for projects and initiatives combined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
