Job summary

A tech support company in Subang Jaya is seeking an IT Technical Support professional to provide on-site assistance and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, proficiency in Mandarin, and the ability to handle hardware/software issues and network configurations. A driving license for customer site visits is required. Competitive salary offered between MYR 2,500 and MYR 3,500.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT technical support.
  • Mandarin speaking is a MUST to support customers.
  • Possess a driving license with own transport for customer site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support for production PC issues.
  • Receive and update tickets according to SOP.
  • Perform troubleshooting on PC hardware issues and network failures.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or STPM or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience required in IT technical support
  • Must be able to handle basic hardware / software and have trouble-shooting skills
  • Must be able to handle basic hardware / software installation
  • Must be able to handle basic network / printer configuration
  • Possess driving license with own transport in order to travel to customer's site.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
  • Mandarin speaking is a MUST as we have Mandarin speaking customers.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • PC assembly, installation, testing and troubleshooting.
  • On site support for production PC issues, failures etc.
  • Receive issues, update tickets accordingly to SOP, able to prioritize ticket resolution within SLA.
  • Perform trouble shooting on: PC Hardware issues, network failure, bar code scanner, support windows 8-10, good in command prompt
