A leading recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an IT/Tech Recruitment Consultant to source candidates through various platforms and collaborate with Account Managers. The ideal candidate holds a degree and possesses excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a proven track record. This role offers opportunities for growth into Senior or Principal positions based on performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Recruitment industry or sales and business development is an advantage.
  • Experienced recruiters may be considered for Senior or Principal roles.
  • Candidates with no experience but highly driven may apply for a Trainee position.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize social media and job portals to identify and connect with candidates.
  • Maintain and update candidate information in ATS and databases.
  • Review portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to develop sourcing strategies.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates.
  • Implement recruitment marketing campaigns to attract candidates.
  • Measure and report on key recruiting metrics.
  • Follow up with candidates for a positive experience.
  • Actively reach out to potential clients.

Job description
IT/ Tech Recruitment Consultant (Associate to Principal)
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize social media networks (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), Job Portals and niche platforms (e.g., GitHub), networking, referrals to identify and connect with potential candidates.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other internal databases.
  • Screening: Review online portfolios and resumes to pre‑screen candidates and ensure they meet the job requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers to understand the specific needs of each position and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Networking: Build and maintain a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Develop and implement recruitment marketing campaigns to attract qualified candidates.
  • Metrics: Measure and report on key recruiting metrics, such as source of hire and time‑to‑fill.
  • Follow‑Up: Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Business Development / Account Management: Actively reach out to potential clients, and/or build strong relationships with existing clients, to further business goals.
