Job description
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. The candidate will manage and support our IT infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure, Intune, and general IT administration. You will ensure smooth operation of employee devices, maintain security standards, and support both Windows and Linux environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Device Management & Support
- Deploy, configure, and manage Windows devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users.
- Manage device compliance and enforce security policies through Azure AD and Intune.
- Cloud & Infrastructure
- Administer Microsoft Azure resources, including virtual machines, user access, and resource groups.
- Support Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) setup, user provisioning, and access control.
- Assist in maintaining VPNs, network configurations and connectivity between environments.
- Linux Administration
- Perform basic to intermediate Linux system administration, including user management, service monitoring, and file system maintenance.
- Troubleshoot Linux-based servers or tools used in engineering or backend infrastructure.
- General IT Operations
- Maintain IT inventory, asset tracking, and documentation.
- Manage software installation, updates, and license compliance.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes (accounts, access, laptops, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure systems meet business and security requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or similar roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Windows device management.
- Familiarity with Azure portal administration and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, or similar) environments.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals, VPN/IPSec, and firewall basics.
- General troubleshooting skills for laptop hardware and software issues.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance frameworks.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Customer‑oriented with the ability to assist non‑technical users.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
