Job summary

Bosch Group in Malaysia invites a 6‑month internship in Penang for students pursuing degrees in CS/IT/SE/DS. The role focuses on building web apps with Oracle APEX, creating Power BI dashboards, and writing optimized SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.

As part of a dynamic team, you will support ETL processes, data integration, and workflow automation, while translating business needs into technical solutions and documenting processes for users and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Understanding of programming or web development concepts.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Oracle APEX, Python, JavaScript, or ETL tools is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Available for a 6 month internship starting August or September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX
• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Write, test, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation and reporting
• Support ETL processes, data integration, and workflow automation activities
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform application testing, troubleshooting, and system enhancement activities
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and process documentation
• Collaborating with business users and team members on solution development projects
