Job description

IT Senior/Engineer (Software Development - VB, C#, Java, ASP.Net, SQL)

Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain MES, CIM, ERP, HRMS, web applications and/or e-business systems.

Work closely with other functional teams to deliver customer/user IT requests in a timely manner.

Gather requirements for system enhancement/modification from customer/user.

Participate and contribute to all phases of the application development life cycle.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from the application systems and the interfaces to other systems.

Provide relevant system and user documentation.

Keep abreast of latest developments and have keen interests in researching leading trends in software development.

Qualification

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related qualification.

Job Requirements

At least 3 years application development experience using programming/scripting tools such as Visual Basic, C#, Java, ASP.NET, HTML5/CSS, PHP, Perl, Python, MS Transact SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL.

Work experience with Agile/Scrum software development approach.

Application development experience with MES, Factory Automation, ERP, HRMS, web applications and/or e-business systems will be an added advantage.

Customer/user IT requests fulfilment and support within the stipulated timeline.

Knowledge of stored procedures and SSIS packages development and enhancement for relational databases.

Strong technical background with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good interaction skills with customer/user is required.
