Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 6–8 years in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a systems administration or IT project management role.
• Mainly maximise whatever system available in our company.
• Have good AI knowledge

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of system integrations, backups, and server environments-
• System administration (Windows)
• Familiar with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems and more.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is a Bonus(+).

Cybersecurity Knowledge

• Awareness of firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, and data backup practices
• Familiarity with cybersecurity audits and compliance protocols

Other Tools

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SQL, Power BI or reporting dashboards

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal, Bahasa Malaysia & English)
• Able to explain IT topics to non-technical staff
• Project planning, vendor negotiation, and time management skills

Responsibility

System Administration & Support

• Manage daily operations of core systems (WMS, ERP, productivity tools).
• Oversee user access, system updates, backups, and escalation of IT support issues.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations and SOPs.

Vendor Liaison & Project Execution

• Coordinate with software vendors, cloud providers, and hardware suppliers.
• Evaluate vendor performance and service agreements.
• Lead system implementation/migration projects (e.g., WMS, e-invoicing).

Digital Transformation Enablement

• Assist the Director in executing multi-year digital transformation initiatives across freight forwarding, customs brokerage, haulage, and warehousing.
• Support integration of logistics systems for seamless interdepartmental data flow.

Strategic Evaluation for Future Talent/Tools

• Assess the need for internal DevOps engineers, data analysts, or data scientists.
• Provide technical recommendations for AI, automation, and BI dashboard adoption.

Cybersecurity & Data Integrity

• Implement basic cybersecurity protocols (firewalls, antivirus, MFA, backups).
• Ensure compliance with PDPA and internal IT policies, with vendors if necessary.
• Conduct system and data audits for security and accuracy.

Hardware & IT Infrastructure

• Optimise IT assets and evaluate cost‑effective infrastructure upgrades.
• Track hardware lifecycle and propose replacements or improvements.
• Support logistics‑related IT assets (CCTV, label printers, scanners, etc.).

Team Collaboration & Training

• Provide IT onboarding and training on new systems and tools.
• Collaborate with operations, accounts, and warehouse teams to identify system usage challenges and improvement opportunities.
