A leading financial services firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Finance solutions. You will be responsible for supporting ERP systems, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless IT service operations. The person will be the regional IT SME for the companies in the business domain Finance and Reporting.
Responsible for service support and operations for IT Finance solutions.
The person will be the application owner for the following solutions and systems (Primary - ERP Finance (AP/AR/GL/FA), Secondary - ERP Controlling (CO), Any new or emerging technology to support Finance, Controlling and Reporting).
Lead, manage and provide the L1/L2/L3 support for live systems in close collaboration with AMS vendor to meet agreed SLA and KPI.
Analyze reported incidents to devise appropriate long-term solutions to prevent recurrence of similar issues as part of problem management process.
Review solution provided by AMS vendor to assure quality and alignment with company solution standards and direction.
Maintain and update relevant documentation (e.g. functional spec, operation playbook, etc) due to fixes and/or enhancement to assure completeness and accuracy.
Conduct periodic service review with AMS vendor to assure SLA and KPI are met and to take immediate remediation measures to address any shortcomings.
Conduct and provide timely and accurate reporting and review session with key business users and management on ITSM related KPI and progress.
Comply with the Group ITSM policy and procedures as well as utilizing implemented ITSM tool to manage, track, monitor and close incidents, change request, problem, etc within specified SLA.
As the IT SME / Lead for the Finance area by leading, driving and managing tasks/activities in all phases of application development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment and support.
Collect, document and analyze business requirements and develop/design solutions to address the business requirements following company solution standards and direction.
Conduct end user training, prepare cutover/deployment plan and provide go‑live support to ensure smooth solution go‑live and “teething” issues are resolved promptly.
Manage the AMS vendors to ensure their efforts are in line with company direction and their activities are delivering positive outcome for business.
