A healthcare facility in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced IT Support professional. The successful candidate will provide first-level technical support for applications and infrastructure, ensuring issues are resolved promptly within defined service level agreements. Job Scopes:
Service Management Role
Provide first level technical support for all applications, systems and infrastructure to users locally or remotely
Ensure user's problems to be solved within the stipulated SLA
Responsible for installation, configuration and maintaining IT Systems and Infrastructures
Assist IT Manager in enforcing IT Policies, IT audit and monitor for any misused or misconduct of IT facilities
Responsible for network and security configurations and documentation for all IT equipment
Assist IT Manager to do scheduled IT equipment health check-up, evaluation, test and deployment
Responsible for updating and assisting the IT Manager on any major IT problems as well as providing recommendations and initiating the rectification process
Ensure proper administration of the company's IT Resources and accurate maintenance of all IT equipment.
Responsible update and maintain IT Inventory records
Responsible for IT Purchase Evaluation, Recommendation, Setup and Delivery for end users
Assist IT Manager in administration and maintenance of company's Servers and Backups
To ensure security, privacy and confidentiality of network, hardware and software
Application Support
Provide Level 1 Application Support which includes user account assistance, technical support and others for the following systems.
Hospital Information System (HIS)
Finance Information System (FIS)
Reporting Systems and others
Participate in doing tests such as User Acceptance Test (UAT), Proof of Concept (POC), Functional Tests, Deployment Tests and any other IT Application related tests.
Other General Duties
Weekly rotational on-call during non-working hours to support IT Hospital operations for any issues
To assists management for any ad-hoc projects and support
Cross-functional support to support other departments/units within the company
Job Requirements:
Degree in Information Technology or more than 3 years of related experiences
Good knowledge of networking, server's administration and application software
Good knowledge in Query Language (SQL)
Good IT Security and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge and experience in Data Analytics is a good advantage
Independent and able to work well with others
Able to work at odd hours and standby for on call after working hour
Able to perform trouble shooting of hardware and software problems
Trustworthy, hardworking, committed to the task assigned
The ability to work flexibly under pressure, be self-motivating and prioritize unscheduled as well as scheduled works
Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with internal & external stakeholders
A person who is meticulous, detailed-oriented and result driven
