Job summary

A leading energy solutions company in Kulim, Kedah seeks an individual responsible for hardware operations and maintenance. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have skills in virtualization technologies such as Vmware, Sangfor, and Nutanix. Proficiency in Linux and scripting languages like Python is necessary. Strong communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu are required to liaise with the headquarters in China.

Job description

EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd – Kulim, Kedah

Responsible for hardware operations and maintenance, including as below:

Standardization construction and operation and maintenance of QMS/WMS/TMS systems, compiling knowledge documentation (training manuals, project documents, SOPs, issue lists, etc.).

Daily operation and maintenance of information systems, ensuring normal system operation, and troubleshooting.

Complete other tasks assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Information Systems related professional background

Proficient in the fundamentals and troubleshooting of mainstream virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure (Vmware, Sangfor,Nutanix)

Proficient in the fundamentals and hardware handling of servers, storage, fiber optic switches, load balancers, and other hardware devices

Familiar with operating systems such as Linux and Windows, and proficient in one or two of Shell and Python scripting languages

Proficient in monitoring platform operation and maintenance

Experience in the implementation and maintenance of information systems such as QMS/WMS/TMS, and possess some SQL writing skills

Proactive and able to work under pressure

Good communication skills, fluent in Chinese-Mandarin (Need Liaise the HQ of China and Supplier), English, and Bahasa Melayu.
