Job description

Note: Opening role for CAMSTAR / MES - Senior IT Engineer & IT Engineer based in Bayan Lepas.

Job Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing related applications (MES, Camstar, ShopFloor & equipment automation).
• Manage MES system stability, operation, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance or support for development or troubleshooting of systems.
• Develop test case procedures and perform user acceptance testing.
• Conduct user training, guidance, and prepare system documentation.
• Integrate third‑party systems with in‑house system.
• Perform characterization for new equipment.
• Assist configuration and guiding users of new equipment in EAP & MES.
• Drive and own the specific business logic module to interface with front‑end application.
• 24x7 standby on call manufacturing support (rotation basis).
• Experience on MS‑SQL Server, Oracle and equipment automation programming.
• Good experience on L2/L3 troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related.
• At least 1-4 years in supporting application across distributed area. Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle Database and SQL programming.
• Strong programming knowledge (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, OOP, SOA) and database skill (MSSQL and T‑SQL).
• Experience of Manufacturing Execution System is an additional advantage.
• Experience of Soap UI and Restful API is an additional advantage.
• Knowing automation scripting such as SECS/GEM or manufacturing process is an additional advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written, ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Understand cross‑cultural working environments.
• Good analytical thinker with attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving and triaging skills.
• Good understanding of support process and change management.
• Able to perform work independently with minimum supervision.
