Responsibilities
- The IT business applications Executive is responsible for managing the operational support, maintenance, and development activities for business applications. The position combines responsibilities with or without hands‑on technical.
- The incumbent engages with the business leaders on business requirements and business process improvement, application development lifecycle management and provides 3rd level technical support. In addition, the team participates in the implementation of the IT plan and ensure the effective and efficient use of the business applications.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required
- Knowledge and ability to direct a staff in integrating information technology services with the work requirements and deliverables of the unit
- Knowledge of informational technology disciplines, e.g., software applications and interfaces, production operations, quality assurance and systems management, etc.
- Knowledge of project management process and systems, TIL/ITSM
- Knowledge of new technologies (in specific field) and maintain and stay abreast of updates and changes
- Experience in a variety of data integration technologies – ETL, flat files, XML, SOAP, API, SDK, HL7 & etc
- Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude
- Highly self‑motivated, directed, and change oriented
- Ability to handle confrontation with appropriate grace, professionalism, cordiality, and firmness, and manage/resolve disputes appropriately
- Ability to communicate concepts in elegant, concise, eloquent form to management and to cross‑functional departments or teams verbally, in writing, and through pictures or diagrams when appropriate
- 2 years of experience in managing a business application and development team with SQL and relevant experience and SharePoint development
- Have proven experience in ERP implementation, portals, productivity and transformational business solutions
- Eight or more years of professional experience with preferably four years in the healthcare industry
- Three years of experience in planning and managing IT programs including budgeting, resource management, and delivery development
- Experienced in managing user expectations, requirements, and resources
- Experienced in embedding user experience into application design
- Working experience in healthcare facility will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Responsible person, possess positive working mindset, good attitude
