Job summary

Ambition in Selangor seeks an IT Business Analyst to bridge technology and business needs. You will capture operational challenges, document specifications, and guide development.

You will collaborate with faculties, professional services, and technical teams to shape how technology supports the academic community. You will coordinate requirements, review APIs and databases, support UAT, and maintain clear system documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in IT business analysis or IT project delivery.
• Good understanding of software development, APIs, databases and integrations.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, coordinate UAT, and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage with faculties and business units to capture operational challenges and define tech requirements.
• Document functional specs, process flows, and user stories for development teams.
• Analyse existing systems to identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors and users on integrations and upgrades.
• Support UAT to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Maintain documentation of system changes, processes and integrations.
• Contribute to evaluation of new technologies to improve efficiency and UX.
