Job summary

alrajhi bank Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Audit professional to strengthen the bank's risk control framework through thorough IT audits of core applications, infrastructure, and IT processes.

The role leads audit planning, executes fieldwork, drafts programmes and reports, and ensures regulatory alignment. Strong English writing, leadership, and CISA or equivalent certifications are advantages; 7 years in financial IT audit preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of working experience, preferably in financial institution and/or including management experience.
• In-depth understanding of auditing gained by performing complex audits independently from beginning to end, including reporting and presentation.
• Managed multiple special projects and audits assignments.
• Experience with complex processes or organisations, preferably experience in operational or technical work.
• Excellent skills in report writing and advanced level of the English language, both orally and in writing.
• Possess Professional certification e.g. CISA etc is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT related audits per the approved yearly Audit Plan within budgeted timelines.
• Lead audit planning, execution, and report drafting as Team Leader.
• Support Team Leader by executing audit planning, fieldwork and reporting for assigned work.
• Ensure audit work scoping addresses key risks and regulatory requirements.
• Identify material findings and issue queries to auditees for response.
• Discuss material observations in exit meetings and obtain management action plans.
• Review audit working papers to ensure coverage of risk areas and adherence to IAD standards.
• Assist HOA in draft audit reports and escalate delays when needed.
• Perform monthly follow-up on outstanding audit issues and provide updates.
• Update audit programs as needed.
• Perform continuous monitoring on IT-related matters and highlight emerging control weaknesses.
