Job description
IT Administrator

Capco Global IT ensures that our employees can work securely and seamlessly, whether they are in the office, working from home, or travelling. Our team supports nearly 9,000 employees worldwide across three territories, with an IT infrastructure group of just 37 highly skilled professionals.

Role Overview

This role is primarily based in the local office, with additional remote support for global offices as part of our follow‑the‑sun support model. You will collaborate regularly with IT teams in the Americas, Europe, and APAC. Flexibility with shift coverage (08:00–18:00 GMT) may be required to accommodate global time zones. Travel to regional offices may be needed to provide hands‑on support, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and assist with on‑site implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality IT support and ensure consistent standards of ticket logging, communication, and resolution (following ITIL practices).
  • Respond to and triage support requests via our global ticketing system (ServiceNow).
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot software — both remotely and on‑site.
  • Assist users with VPN access and general connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements of hardware and AV equipment.
  • Provide comprehensive desktop support via phone, email, and desk‑side assistance.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, room booking systems, and mobile devices (Android, iOS).
  • Maintain server room hygiene, including cabling and hardware upkeep.
  • Support regional HP laptop refresh initiatives.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Manage workstation inventory and asset tracking for the local region.
  • Oversee laptop collection for leavers.
  • Deploy laptops using AutoPilot and maintain accurate asset records.
  • Assist with MacBook administration and support.
  • Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) activities.
  • Execute new joiner processes:
    • Create user accounts in Active Directory.
    • Prepare and deploy laptops.
    • Deliver IT inductions for new staff.
