Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Islamic Wealth Planner role based in Ipoh. The Islamic Wealth Planner will provide Shariah-compliant financial and wealth planning services, including analyzing client needs, recommending suitable takaful and investment solutions, and developing long-term protection and savings strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, conducting financial reviews, preparing proposals, and maintaining ongoing relationships to ensure that clients’ financial goals and risk management needs are met. The role also involves collaborating with agency leaders and team members, participating in training and team meetings, and staying current with industry regulations and products in Islamic finance, insurance, and takaful. The Islamic Wealth Planner is expected to uphold professional ethics, represent PMG Venture Capital and its partners with integrity, and contribute to agency growth through business development and client acquisition.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning to assess client needs, create tailored wealth plans, and support long-term financial goals.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Investment Management and Investments to recommend Shariah-compliant strategies aligned with risk profiles and objectives.
• Candidates should possess a good foundation in Finance to interpret financial data, understand market trends, and communicate options clearly to clients.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Insurance and Takaful products to structure appropriate protection and savings solutions for diverse client segments.
• Relevant academic background in finance, business, economics, Islamic banking, or a related field; professional certifications in financial planning or Islamic finance are an advantage.
