Job summary

Trinity Technologies Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an IoT & Embedded Systems Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. This full-time internship is based in Taman Danau Desa and involves hands-on work with sensors, microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, LoRaWAN, gateways and IoT communication systems.

You will assist in design, development and testing of embedded systems, program microcontrollers, debug hardware and software issues, and document engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one embedded systems programming language, such as C or C++.
• Familiarity with development platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of basic electronics principles, including circuit analysis and component functionality.
• Experience with embedded systems design tools and IDE software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of embedded systems and IoT devices
• Support the programming and configuration of microcontrollers and microprocessors using industry-standard tools and languages
• Participate in the troubleshooting and debugging of hardware and software issues
• Assist on circuit design, prototyping, and PCB layout activities
• Conduct component testing and validation to ensure product quality and reliability
• Document technical specifications, test results, and engineering processes
• Assist in integrating sensors, communication modules, and other peripherals into embedded systems
• Support the development of firmware and embedded software for IoT applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices

IoT & Embedded Systems Engineering Intern

Trinity Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and enthusiastic IoT & Embedded Systems Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. This is a full-time internship position based in Taman Danau Desa, Kuala Lumpur. You will work with sensors, microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, LoRaWAN, gateways and IoT communication systems while supporting the development of connected monitoring technologies for industrial applications. What we're looking for

Preferred: Experience with IoT protocols (such as MQTT, CoAP, or LoRaWAN), PCB design software, or real-world embedded systems projects
