Support the Investment team in evaluating and monitoring equity investment opportunities.
Conduct research and analysis on Bursa Malaysia-listed companies, sectors, market trends, and potential investment opportunities.
Monitor stock market movements, company announcements, and relevant industry developments.
Assist in the execution and monitoring of equity trades, including buying and selling of shares/stocks.
Track investment positions, portfolio performance, and trading activities.
Prepare investment reports and presentations on selected stocks, sectors, and investment themes for internal discussion.
Apply fundamental and market analysis to support investment and trading decisions.
Assist in preparing financial models, budgets, forecasts, cash flow analyses, and investment-related reports.
Analyze financial and operational data to provide insights for business and investment decisions.
Support FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Assist with project evaluations, due diligence exercises, and investment decision-making processes.
Liaise with brokers, financial institutions, and other external stakeholders on stockbroking and investment-related matters.
Coordinate and follow up on trade-related documentation and investment transactions.
Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of investment and trading records.
Ensure proper documentation and follow-up for investment, operational, and corporate matters.
Support day-to-day investment and operations activities.
Participate in ad-hoc projects, business initiatives, and strategic assignments as required.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Investment, or a related field.
Candidates with experience as a Trader, Dealer, Investment Executive, or in a similar investment-related role are highly preferred.
Hands-on experience in equity trading, including buying and selling shares/stocks, is required.
Good understanding of Bursa Malaysia, equity markets, stock trading, and investment products.
Strong understanding of financial analysis and valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
Familiarity with financial statements, accounting standards, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and Securities Commission (SC) guidelines is an advantage.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
