Job summary

Combi Master Drives (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Inverter Service & Maintenance Intern to assist the technical team with inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and repair of inverter systems and related electrical equipment.

This internship provides exposure to inverter technology, power electronics, electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and field service activities, with guidance from experienced personnel. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

Hands-on internship in inverter service and maintenance.
Willingness to learn inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and repair.
Exposure to electrical/electronic equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians in inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and repair of inverter systems.
Perform basic diagnostic checks under supervision.
Assist in checking inverter components such as PCBs, capacitors, cooling fans, rectifiers, IGBTs/power modules, terminals and control circuits.
Use test equipment under supervision (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.).
Assist in identifying faulty components and carrying out replacements where appropriate.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance for inverter systems and related equipment.
