Job summary

Sandisk invites a Memory Product Test Engineering Intern to our Batu Kawan team in Malaysia. The role focuses on developing and debugging test flows, improving test methods, and supporting cross‑functional engineering efforts to advance product quality.

You will work with product, test, quality, and operations teams to optimize test coverage, yield, and cycle time while gaining hands‑on experience in design and analysis within a global memory products environment.

• Test development & debug support Assist with test and diagnostic program development and troubleshooting under guidance from Test/Product Engineering mentors.
• Support evaluation of test results and help identify failure signatures and potential root causes (initial triage and data organization).
• Product readiness & manufacturing support Help execute activities that support manufacturing readiness, including test flow validation, documentation updates, and coordination with partner teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on meeting product/spec targets, improving yield, and reducing test time.
• Documentation & communication Prepare or update specifications, procedures, and test‑related documentation (e.g., test methods, known issues, basic instructions). Summarize findings and present updates to the immediate project team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Memory Product Test Engineering Intern to join our team in Batu Kawan, Malaysia. In this role, you will support our engineering team on various projects, gaining hands‑on experience in design, analysis, and technical problem-solving. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge in a professional environment while developing practical skills and industry insights. The Test Product Engineering Intern will support the Memory Product Group by helping develop, improve, and troubleshoot product test flows, test methods, and test infrastructure used across product development and manufacturing readiness. The intern will work cross‑functionally with product, test, quality, and operations partners and contribute to efforts that improve test coverage, cycle time, yield, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Test development & debug support Assist with test and diagnostic program development and troubleshooting under guidance from Test/Product Engineering mentors.
