Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is offering a 6‑month IT internship in Penang to work on laboratory systems and in‑house IT solutions. You will assist in development, testing, and deployment under supervision.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Information Technology or Multimedia, with good IT skills and English proficiency. Training will be provided, and you’ll gain hands‑on experience with VB Script, MS SQL and Crystal Reports.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor’s in CS/IT or Multimedia.
• Internship period of 6 months.
• Good IT and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development project of Laboratory system and other in-house IT Solutions.
• Assist Project Leader in creating, testing and deploying new page templates.
• Involve in designing online marketing material (Optional for Multimedia student).
• Handling Service management system (OTRS).
• Provide documentation on tasks and management of the system.
• Training will be provided.
• Learn on Business Communication and interaction with stakeholders.
• Learn scripting/coding functions using VB Script, Open source system and MS SQL.
• Basic Crystal Report Training.
• Active engagement from management on Internship final presentations.

Job Description

Job Requirement:-

• Candidate must be currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or Multimedia equivalent.
• Internship period: 6 months.

• Additional skill(s): Good communication, writing and problem solving.
• Fast leaner and able to work under minimal supervision.
