Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking a dynamic ESG Engagement Specialist to drive external partnerships, develop thought leadership, and support ESG events and conferences in Kuala Lumpur. The role includes coordinating with partners, creating marketing materials, and traveling to participate in global ESG forums.

The successful candidate will stay abreast of ESG research and regulatory trends, translating insights into actionable business strategies and collateral.

Responsibilities

• Engage with external partners to develop and promote collaborative ESG initiatives.
• Lead partnership meetings to align on strategic goals and innovative projects related to sustainability.
• Curate and develop compelling marketing materials (e.g., brochures, social media content, presentations) to support ESG events, workshops, and conferences.
• Support the team of on-the-ground ESG-related events, working closely with the sales teams.
• Facilitate networking opportunities and increase brand visibility at high-impact industry events and sustainability forums.
• Travel with the team to participate in ESG conferences, workshops, and summits to promote thought leadership.
• Support the team in ESG research and stay up to date with latest ESG research, market trends, and regulatory developments.
• Work with internal teams to incorporate new findings into business strategies and marketing collateral.
• Lead the creation of thought leadership frameworks for workshops and conferences.

• ESG Initiatives & Partnership Engagement:
• Engage with external partners to develop and promote collaborative ESG initiatives.
• Key Partners: Bursa Malaysia, Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB), Monash University, Invest Sarawak, INCEIF University , GreenRE

• Marketing Collateral Development for ESG Events:
• Curate and develop compelling marketing materials (e.g., brochures, social media content, presentations) to support ESG events, workshops, and conferences
• On-Ground Event Support & Brand Visibility:
• Support the team of on-the-ground ESG-related events, working closely with the sales teams.
• Facilitate networking opportunities and increase brand visibility at high-impact industry events and sustainability forums.
• Travel & Conference Engagement:
• Opportunity to travel with the team to participate in ESG conferences, workshops, and summits to promote thought leadership and network with industry leaders.
• Fast-Track Learning & ESG Research:
• Support the team in ESG research
• Stay up to date with the latest ESG research, market trends, and regulatory developments.

• Thought Leadership & Framework Development:
• Lead the creation of thought leadership frameworks for workshops and conferences.
