Job summary

dhungryhelpezenterprise in Malaysia seeks a Builder for our aquaculture operations to create and scale practical farm systems that increase yield while maintaining welfare and sustainability.

You will manage pond and tank systems, oversee feeding, harvesting, water quality testing, and collaborate with local suppliers to strengthen our supply chains and community food resilience.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in aquaculture, fisheries, marine science, agriculture, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience in aquaculture operations or fish farming.

Responsibilities

  • Stock & Farm Operations: Manage daily feeding, stocking, and harvest schedules to meet production goals and maintain stock quality.
  • Water & Health Management: Monitor water quality parameters and perform basic tests to keep conditions stable and within target ranges.
  • Data & Continuous Improvement: Keep accurate records of growth rates, feed conversion ratios, and mortalities to inform process improvements.

  • Manage daily feeding, stocking, and harvest schedules to meet production goals and maintain stock quality.
  • Inspect and perform routine maintenance on nets, tanks, pumps, and basic farm equipment.
Water & Health Management
  • Monitor water quality parameters and perform basic tests to keep conditions stable and within target ranges.
  • Observe fish health, apply biosecurity steps, and coordinate treatments or external veterinary support when needed.
  • Keep accurate records of growth rates, feed conversion ratios, and mortalities to inform process improvements.
  • Suggest and trial small process changes to increase yield, lower feed waste, and improve consistency.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or degree in aquaculture, fisheries, marine science, agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
