Qualifications

• PhD in life sciences, medical and health sciences, materials science, social sciences, or related discipline.
• In-depth understanding of peer review and publishing standards.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office and common publishing/manuscript tools.
• Prior journal editing or editorial board experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review manuscripts for academic quality and alignment with journal aims and standards.
• Participate in manuscript review process, including reviewer selection and progress tracking.
• Maintain relationships with authors, reviewers, editors, and collaborators; support manuscript commissioning.
• Explore new channels for manuscript commissioning to improve quality and solicitation efficiency.
• Assist in international publishing conferences and exchange activities to improve quality standards and policy framework.
