Job summary

Kim Loong Resources Berhad is seeking an auditor to perform operational and sustainability compliance audits, develop audit work papers, and summarize findings for management. The role requires a degree in Accounting or related field, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to present reports.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Agricultural or related field.
• Non-professionally qualified holders may be considered if pursuing a recognized professional qualification.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performing operational and sustainability compliance audits by developing accurate and complete audit work papers that supports the audit findings.

• Communicate with various department heads and key associates throughout the organization.
• Determine ways on cost efficiency costs and improve profitability.
• Assess the efficiency on the internal control system, procedure, risk management and make value added recommendations to address weaknesses.
• Present findings to management in the form of reports and presentations.
• Undertake domestic and inter-location travel as required to conduct audits at the organization's offices, operational sites, plantations, mills or other business locations.

Job Requirement

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Agricultural or related field.

Non-professionally qualified holders who are currently pursuing a recognized professional accountancy qualification may be considered.

Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint effectively.

Good inter-personal and communication skills with positive attitude.

Willingness and ability to travel to various operational locations as required for audit assignments.

Relevant working experience will be an advantage. Candidates with suitable experience may be considered for Executive or Senior Executive positions.
