Job summary

Insulet Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed medical device company renowned for the OmniPod insulin management system, is seeking a 6-month internship in Malaysia to support quality processes and data analysis. You will assist in quality plans, calibration activities, and ERP/PLM documentation, contributing to regulatory readiness and operational metrics.

The role emphasizes strong communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork, with exposure to SAP, SharePoint, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Quality Management or Manufacturing, preferably in final year.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Basic data analysis knowledge and the ability to multitask as a team player.
• Preferred for a 6-month internship period.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist in developing quality-plans where needed.
• Identify opportunities to leverage applications to improve quality processes to ensure best practices are utilized.
• Support documentation update and upload revise revision in system and follow up & track progress of document approval on PLM.
• Assisting team on whole plant calibration activities and keep track the completion while maintaining ERP system and records keeping process.
• Documentation preparation for authority application and physical sample readiness for analysis, calibration and return to vendor.
• Assist in the development of quality metrics dashboard & key performance indicators used for operational review meetings.
• Assisting maintain records of supplier information in risk assessment databases, SAP, SharePoint, and other relevant platforms.
• Execute the equipment preventive maintenance in accordance to the interval period assigned in the procedures / SAP.
• Assisting inspection process on raw material using metrology equipment and enhance the process and propose on seamless approach and methodology.
• Others duties as assigned by Engineers / superior.

Minimum Requirements

• Currently pursuing Bachelors in Engineering in any field, statistics, quality management or manufacturing, preferably in the last study semester.
• Possess excellent communication (both verbal and written), leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail, especially in terms documentation review.
• Preferred for 6-month period internship program student
• Basic Data Analysis experience or knowledge
• Ability to multitask and be able to contribute positively as and individual and as a team player.
