Tropica Beauty Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Intern Graphic Designer to join our Batu Caves, Selangor team on a full-time basis.

This internship offers hands-on experience in beauty branding and visual communication, to build your portfolio while working with our experienced designers. You will assist in marketing visuals, packaging design, and social media graphics while learning industry best practices in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Formación

• Strong portfolio showing design skills and creativity.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory.
• Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Preferred: familiarity with beauty industry; digital design and print production knowledge.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from graphic design or related programme.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Intern Graphic Designer to join our creative team at our Batu Caves, Selangor office on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual to gain hands-on experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry whilst contributing to visually compelling design projects. As an Intern Graphic Designer, you will work alongside our experienced design professionals, gaining valuable insights into professional graphic design practices, brand development, and visual communication strategies. This role offers a fantastic platform to develop your technical skills, build your portfolio, and launch your career in graphic design within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting in the creation of visual content for marketing campaigns, including digital and print materials

Supporting the design of packaging, labels, and product branding materials for beauty products

Collaborating with the marketing and design teams to develop creative concepts and design solutions

Creating graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for social media platforms and digital channels

Maintaining brand consistency across all design projects and communications

Utilizing design software and tools to produce high-quality artwork and layouts

Gathering feedback from team members and incorporating revisions into design work

Supporting the preparation of design presentations and promotional materials

Learning and applying industry best practices in graphic design and visual communication

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent design tools

A strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, design skills, and visual communication abilities

Excellent understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and layout composition

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of visual quality

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a graphic design, fine arts, or related creative programme

Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take feedback constructively

Preferred experience: Familiarity with the beauty, cosmetics, or fashion industry; experience with digital design and web graphics; knowledge of print production processes
