Job summary

Lam Research is offering an internship in Batu Kawan, Penang, MY, within the Global Customer Operations Group. The role focuses on supporting regional operations, data reporting, and process documentation, with exposure to Power BI and Excel.

The candidate should be an undergraduate in Business Admin/Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields, analytical and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Available for a minimum 6 months internship is required.
• Undergraduate in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with Excel; Power BI exposure is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support regional business operations, reporting, and business review activities.
• Assist with data preparation and validation to support accurate reporting.
• Support documentation of business processes, reporting requirements, and work instructions.
• Assist in reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for simplification and improvement.
• Support comparison of similar activities across regions and contribute to standardized practices.
• Participate in process improvement and digitalization activities where applicable.
• Collaborate with Global Business Center (GBC) and regional stakeholders on assigned tasks and activities.
• Perform other business operations tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Joining the team is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of business process transformation and to provide essential analytical support to the Regional Business Operations team.

What you’ll do

• Support regional business operations, reporting, and business review activities.
• Assist with data preparation and validation to support accurate and consistent reporting.
• Support documentation of business processes, reporting requirements, and work instructions.
• Assist in reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for simplification and improvement.
• Support comparison of similar activities across regions and contribute to common templates and standardized practices.
• Participate in process improvement and digitalization activities where applicable.
• Work with G lobal Business Center (GBC) team members and regional stakeholders on assigned tasks and activities.
• Perform other business operations activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Who we’re looking for

• Availablility for a minimum 6 months internship is required.
• Undergraduate in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or related fields.
