Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned construction manager to lead construction and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and over 15 years of EPC experience in offshore or onshore oil and gas, especially with FPSO projects. Responsibilities include developing execution plans, defining specifications, and managing construction teams to ensure project objectives are met while optimizing processes and maintaining technical integrity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years EPC experience in offshore or onshore oil and gas.
  • Management experience on a minimum of five FPSO projects.
  • Experience coordinating multi-site construction and integration activities.

  • Identify schedule assurance and acceleration opportunities.
  • Manage construction benchmarks and performance reporting.
  • Set and track performance targets with fabrication and integration sites.
  • Conduct forums and performance feedback reviews.
  • Align expectations with internal execution functions.
  • Coordinate construction community communications and workshops.
  • Support compliance initiatives with fabrication facilities.
  • Introduce relevant new industry practices.
  • Oversee loadout and heavy‑lift planning.
  • Plan and schedule integration scopes to meet commissioning windows.
