MetLife Malaysia seeks a Modeler (Product Modeler) to translate insurance product requirements into robust product models using ProductXpress and related tools. The role collaborates with pricing, actuarial teams, and global partners, and adapts work hours to program delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate has a actuarial/science/computer background, strong analytical skills, English fluency, and exposure to Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in ACT/Math/CS related fields.
• Fresh graduates or 0–1 year relevant experience encouraged to apply.
• Basic exposure to insurance domain preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Analyse insurance product requirements and translate into product models.
• Design, develop, and test models using ProductXpress or equivalent tools.
• Conduct unit testing of calculations and validation rules with actuarial teams.
• Execute testing using Excel and VBA-based automation.
• Prepare project artefacts and status reports for governance.
• Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders and vendors.
