Job summary

AIA Shared Services in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Business Analyst cum UAT for the Insurance Core System. You will gather requirements, draft the functional specifications (FSD), and perform UAT to ensure the system meets business needs.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT to implement system enhancements for insurance services and deliver training materials for end users. This role requires strong communication and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/IT or Computer Science.
• 1-2 years in requirement gathering and 3 years in testing.
• Candidates with QA or Testing experience welcomed.
• Experience in life insurance operations and business analysis preferred.
• Meticulous with deadlines and able to manage priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and implementation of the new systems and enhancements for Insurance business services.
• Prepare functional specification document (FSD) detailing the solution for the given business needs.
• Filter needs and refine requirements into a single, consistent vision.
• Prepare test requirements and test environment to meet UAT needs.
• Execute test scripts and monitor results against business expectations.
• Review and sign off solution documents and UAT plans/scenarios.
• Provide UAT clearance report after ensuring all functionalities tested and defects resolved.
• Prepare end-user training guide and train-the-trainer prior to implementation.
• Post-implementation verification and follow-up on production issues.
