Job summary

Carsome Malaysia seeks a Junior Vehicle Inspector to conduct comprehensive vehicle condition assessments, documenting interior/exterior, odometer, and mechanics, and to report findings with photos. The role requires attention to damage notes and proper documentation.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of related experience and preferably a Diploma or higher in mechanical/automotive engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
• Able to locate, start and move vehicles as directed.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle condition (interior, exterior, odometer, trunk) and document findings.
• Note damages or required repairs to frame, paint, engine, AC/heater, radio, navigation, tires, etc.
• Provide accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition; generate reports from findings.
• Take and upload digital photos during the inspection process.
• Submit condition reports using computer/app software.
• Provide prompt and courteous service and follow up with customers after inspection.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Know How

Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
