Job description

We are currently searching for an experienced trading & sales manager who can develop Soda Ash business in Malaysia by partnering with new customers and setting up stock sales business model and process. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales approach that initiates Soda Ash business and strengthens client relationships, and to achieve trading and sales performance further together with our team members.

Objectives of this role:
  • Develop new customers for Soda Ash in Malaysia market
  • Expand Soda Ash business in Malaysia
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
  • Improve sales revenue and profit
  • Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met
  • Track all business-related documents including contracts and invoices
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Identify and reach potential clients, and initiate discussion with them through emails, calls, and scheduled meetings
  • Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's products or services
  • Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
  • Provide regular or ad-hoc market intelligence & report for target market and product
  • Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
  • Assist in any ad-hoc tasks as assigned, the tasks that could be related to other industry sectors
