Job summary

A technology solutions company based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated sales professional to lead the charge in generating new leads and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the sales process from prospecting to closing. Responsibilities include conducting virtual presentations, maintaining CRM data, and identifying upselling opportunities. A Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, are required for this role.

Job description

Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify and research potential clients through inbound inquiries, outbound outreach, and CRM data. Engage prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels. Qualify leads based on defined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline). Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets.

Sales Execution Conduct virtual calls and presentations tailored to prospect needs. Understand customer pain points and position the company’s solution effectively. Negotiate pricing and close deals in alignment with company policies and margin objectives. Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to handoff for onboarding to event operations.

Growth & Expansion Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine value propositions and messaging. Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights. Experiment with new sales strategies and tools to improve conversion rates.

CRM & Reporting Accurately update CRM (Salesforce) with lead and deal activity. Track performance metrics including conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue. Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports to present to management.

Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in inside sales, business development, or growth‑focused roles (preferably in B2B SaaS or tech).
