Job description

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to join our thriving manufacturing team at PPCM (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in plastic processing and machine setup, be capable of operating injection molding machines independently, and possess strong technical and communication skills.

What you'll be doing

• Install molds onto injection molding machines and set production parameters
• Add raw materials and monitor material usage
• Conduct regular sampling of semi-finished products to ensure product quality
• Organize and collect semi-finished products for subsequent assembly
• Operate and monitor various injection molding machines, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on injection molding equipment, including daily maintenance of production floor equipment and utilities.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements and finish the entire production line.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standard.

What we're looking for

• Relevant technical qualification or certification in injection molding or plastic processing.
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience as an injection molding technician.
• Strong understanding of injection molding principles, equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and operating manuals.
• Able to independently perform mold installation and machine setup
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English is required, and knowing Mandarin would be a significant advantage.
• Willing to work 5 days/week, 12 hours/day.
• Candidates residing in Setia Alam or surrounding areas are preferred.
