Job summary

A technology management firm in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a skilled L2–L3 Infrastructure Administrator. The role involves providing essential Business-as-Usual (BAU) support for the company's infrastructure and includes managing the Microsoft 365 suite and Azure services. Key responsibilities include ensuring secure operations, supporting Microsoft security solutions, and contributing to infrastructure enhancement projects. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Microsoft-centric environment and related certifications are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in infrastructure administration, preferably in a Microsoft-centric environment.
• Highly experienced with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments including hybrid deployment.
• Relevant M365 or Azure certifications.
• Exposure to Microsoft security tools such as Defender, Purview.
• Solid networking knowledge preferred (TCP/IP fundamentals, VLAN, routing, L3/L7 firewalls).

Responsibilities

• Manage and support M365 suite, with hands-on administration of Exchange online, Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint, Intune.
• Administer and maintain Azure services including identity and access control, resource provision.
• Provide support for security solutions such as Defender and Purview.
• Assist with basic networking tasks and troubleshooting.

Job description

Ascentium Max Sdn Bhd – Damansara, Selangor

We are actively sourcing for a L2–L3 Infrastructure Administrator, who will be responsible for providing Business-as-Usual (BAU) support for Ascentium’s infrastructure, and ensuring stable and efficient operations across the environment. In addition to the BAU responsibilities, the role will contribute to project initiatives focused on infrastructure enhancements and security revamp efforts within the Business Unit(s).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support M365 suite, with mandatory hands‑on administration of Exchange online (transport rule, connector, compliance policy), Teams (UC, VC, Teams IM, channels), OneDrive/SharePoint (B2B, device sync, usage report), Intune (endpoint management, security policy, device onboarding, autopatch, autopilot), etc
• Administer and maintain Azure services (Identity and access control, enterprise app, resource provision, Azure Monitor, billing)
• Work across a wide range of Microsoft ecosystem tools used within the Ascentium Group
• Provide support and configuration assistance for security solutions such as Defender (Defender for endpoint, Defender for identity) and Purview (eDiscovery, data governance, audit)
• Assist with basic networking tasks and troubleshooting; knowledge of NGFW (Forti, Checkpoint, Meraki) preferred
