Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead IT and business transformation initiatives across insurance and financial services operations. This role requires strong governance, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Project planning and execution: Define scope, develop project plans, and oversee delivery from initiation to closure.
- Stakeholder management: Engage with business units, vendors, and executives to align expectations and drive collaboration.
- Budget and resource control: Monitor costs, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial accountability.
- Risk and compliance management: Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and uphold audit/governance standards.
- Vendor coordination: Manage external partners to ensure SLA compliance and quality delivery.
- Performance reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in IT, insurance, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master are an advantage.
